About Jackfruit Synergy

We are Jackfruit Synergy Private Limited. We are located in Eppawala, Anuradhapura District, in the North Central Province of Sri Lanka. With over 40 years of experience in agricultural cultivation, we entered the food production industry 35 years ago using our own agricultural produce.
In 1990, we started our production journey in Beruwala under the name "King Star," processing 300 packets of coffee powder using the harvest from about 50 coffee trees in our home garden.
About 15 years ago, we turned our food production into a creative art and developed a new range of toxin-free food products.
In 2017, we presented a range of local jackfruit-based products through the 'Aeth Pawura' program on ITN TV channel and won the third investment opportunity in Sri Lanka during its first round. In 2018, we were awarded the Bronze Award in the Best Business Category at the North Central Province Industrial Awards Ceremony. This was for our creation at that time called "Boarding Koththu."

Three main reasons influenced our move toward finished agricultural products:

01). Farmers not receiving a fair price for their produce during most of the year.

02). The reluctance of the current young generation and children to consume high-quality local crops such as banana blossoms, kohila (lasia), and leafy greens.

03). Although scientific research in many countries has confirmed the quality and health benefits of our aforementioned agricultural crops, the barriers existing in taking such crops to the global market.

As a solution to this, we present to the world a range of value-added foods that can be prepared very quickly without using any chemicals, while preserving their natural quality, color, and aroma.
